Our Mission

We are ordinary people from all walks of life in the greater Scranton area doing extraordinary things for God. By the power of the Holy Spirit within us! We are people recognizing our need to assemble together for strength, encouragement, and direction in our everyday lives.

These “helps” propel us to reproduce in others the “Great Salvation” the Lord has produced in us.

What We Believe

We emphasize that Christians are “joined together” in the work of the ministry. Each individual is important and plays a vital role in accomplishing God’s purposes. We move as one body; speak as one voice.

We are a people of destiny – called, chosen, and equipped by the Word of God, the five-fold ministry, and Holy Spirit within us. Spiritual gifts, callings, talents, and ministries interrelate to proclaim one witness within our community that Jesus Christ is our Lord and King.

Get Connected

We live in a wonderful region: the land and people make this a desirable area for families and businesses. However, when Jesus Christ is the focus of the majority of a community the greater Scranton Area can be extraordinary.

Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion – it is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.

C. S. Lewis
